  1. Salam ..
recently the governor invited families families and friends to parties in govorner house, where his daughter and son danced infront of their father. I am not supporter of taliban but when it comes to them then u make ur mouths loud spakers and shout like animals and when u see this u people think we are moving forward in the race.. lol.

    what is privacy??
just answer me my question... is that privacy to expose yourself like they have done and what you think every pakistani governer or any other Islamic state minister should do the same to invite their friends or families to governer house, parliamint house and to the national assemblies and even start there NACH GANA and what they want??

Dear, everybody knows well what privacy is and for your information i tell u that in the country we lives is an Islamic republic.

  4. asslam o alikum,

it is not fair that Governor of Pakistan's daughter is showing loose character.such type of attitude should be avoided.she must be careful because she is a daughter of a Governor of Pakistan.

  6. everyone has the right to wear what they wish, and not to criticize...what do you expect? to be covered up and strict like the taliban? No way! I think most pakistanis prefer modesty over total control and backwardness, those women are excercising their right to wear what they wish so if anyone has a problem..shut up! and go on with your life..its as if you havent seen women before in skirts or shorts or for the matter if you object then dont visit the US or europe or even muslim turkey as it many offend you. Love live pakistan, long live salman taseer

  19. To me, i think this is our mistake, since these pics are quite old. point is that, if you know this is a snake and it will bite surely, you try to avoid going near to this. but here we know this persons and all other and again we elect them with full heart. WE HAVE TO THINK OUT OF THE BOX AND DO NOT LET THESE SHITS COME TO THE PLACE WHERE THEY RULE THE COUNTRY.

  21. I just tumbled on this site and was surprised to read the comments majority of which wear a 'talibani look'.No image is vulgar and they are someone's private ones, certainly not for public in general. You people want to be ruled by a woman but cannot see her swimming or shopping or just enjoying with friends. This is hypocritic attitude.
If you don't like such pics, shut your eyes and of course mouths also. there is nothing bad in them.

  24. For those of you who question the word "privacy", you all are morons. All these pictures were taken at "private" parties, and nothing about them suggests that the family intended them to go public. If I take a picture of myself with my family in front of a public monument, it does NOT give any asshole the right to publish them on the internet without my consent.
Nowhere in the constitution of Pakistan does it say that the Governor of a province should be a Muslim, let alone be a GOOD one. So why judge him, and his family's faith??? If the founders of Pakistan left the door open for a Non-Muslim to be the Governor, why not a supposedly "bad" Muslim???
For the exceptionally ignorant, as at least one of you is, the President of the United States is not "removed" for any reason. They go through a process of impeachment, which does not cover parties and drinking at the White House.
As far as dancing goes, is it not part of our culture??? Don't go about saying that it's a Hindu/Indian thing to do. All weddings have a mehndi and a bunch of dholkis just so that we can sing and dance. Even if it did originally come from a Hindu culture, we adopted it, and nourished it, and made it our own. And if it's in our culture, then it's a very Pakistani thing to do, and she's just being patriotic.
Please remember that culture and religion are two different entities which sometimes overlap each other, and sometimes conflict with each other. Dancing is a case in point. Un-Islamic, yet culturally very Pakistani. Suicide Bombing is another example of things being un-Islamic, yet Pakistani.
Jumping to conclusions = very Pakistani. And that's what most people have done here. How else did they come up with the wine glass, and the wine bottle. It could be apple sidra for all we know :-P

    Peace.

  34. Whatsoever he did.He is accountable for his personal life.No one else should be a judge for his personal affairs.Instead of commenting on leaders develop your mind and have a positive opinion, come out from confusion. We as a nation are suffering from a greate confusion. As long as a nation remains in confusion, it can't make progress. Have a straight forward mind, everyone should do better for his country and if he wants to criticize on someone he should use gentle language. In this world everyone has a right to criticize but should remain within certain limits. Even in west people do criticize but they do not go below moral level. May Allah forgive his sins and put his soul in rest.

  35. As Adil Javed rightly put it.. these sex deprived cowards killed this good father of two beautiful girls in the name of religion. It's sickening to think that every one should share the same opinion of these medielval mullahs. The man did lead a good happy life and whatever in his personal life is between him and allah. This in addition to all the bombings everywhere shows how insensitive these people are to human life. May allah's wrath fall on all these jihadi's

  43. Pakistan is a fractured society, with a large wedge between the liberal secular left and Islamic right. It increasingly resembles Iran before the revolution, and the majority in the middle are silent trying to make a living. The nation has to come up with a coherent vision. If it intends to be a secular nation like Turkey and many Arab countries it will need to be inclusive and tolerant of people such as Taseer, the Bhuttos etc. Obviously that will also mean the slow erosion of all Islamic values and the country will then be better off becoming a part of India again. If it wishes to be Islamic in the true since then Sharia law should be implemented with all its austerity and people should be willing to give up on all the excesses and so called "freedoms"

To those who say Taseer and his family have the right to do what they want, that is true if he was not holding a public office. If a British or American public official is caught doing something considered off limits in their society, even if it is personal, then he will face the consquences (e.g. Attempt to impeach Clinton for the Lewinsky affair, John Edward and Elliot Spitzer's exit from public life). This man's lifestyle, previous extra-marital affairs etc. also put him at odds with the nation's values and thus he should have been accountable. The problem is Pakistanis make bad choices (who asked them to elect the PPP in the first place) and then become confused, angry, and act childish -- ending up committing a crime.. This man should not have been killed, the PPP should have been thrown out of governance and replaced with a better one.

  44. Taseer being Governor means his statements and actions as Governor are open for public scrutiny, his personal life remains off limits and certainly that of his children.

The folks who are oogling at Taseer's daughters are frustrated losers who have never talked to a girl in their entire lives.

    ReplyDelete
  45. A Governor's personal lifestyle is open to public scrutiny, particularly if he openly engages in such a lifestyle knowing that it is at odds with the public's expectations, since he is an elected representative of his people and is paid for by their taxes.

For example, Elliot Spitzer was a hugely successful Governor of New York with popular support for his policies. When he was caught as a client for a prostitution ring, he could no longer continue his job, not due to legal reasons, but because his actions tarnished his integrity and the trust the public placed in a public official. This happened in one of the most open societies, where prostitution is legal.

I am of course not implying that Taseer was involved in prostitution, but his exuberant lifestyle in a poor Islamic country was at odds with the cultural standards of the nation. Whether he or his family crossed any limits (by drinking or partying) is based on the value set of the society. Such a lifestyle may be perfectly acceptable in any Western country, but it was increasingly at odds in a nation with a strong Islamic constituency. He was stripped of any moral/religious grounds to change the blasphemy law, and was Tweeting in an increasingly antagonizing tone towards the religious right, who are at the end of the day a substantial segment of the society. None of this justified his assassination, which was utterly stupid and reflective of a total anarchy.

Pakistan is a confused nation, and it has to decide whether it will be secular or Islamic, since the appeasing all sides will only lead to further confusion, hypocrisy, and and contradictions.

  50. Religous intolerence has reached its peak and from here there is only one way to go. Down. Whether that happens with overall understanding of the communities at large or by bloodshed, only time will tell.

Killing of Salman Taseer was a disgrace to entire Pakistan and all those moderate muslims living in India and elsewhere also. Its time, people started raising their voices.

Coming to religous intolerance, people of Pakistan must learn a lot from the Hindus in India. You have Presidents and Cricket captains from muslim community there. They are equals in everything they do. There is Haj subsidy given by Indian Government to help poor muslims to go to Haj. No other government does that in the entire world.

And here in our country we demolished all ancient temples and churches and trying to kill a woman for blasphemy. In a democracy people have the right to speech. There is nothing derogatory to a proud and strong religion.

Its also a shame that Salmaan Taseer's family is targeted for being moderate and having a lifestyle in a democratic fashion. To hell with these religous fanatics.

I like this girl and would like to be her boy friend. She is so sexy and some of her friends are also sexy. The guys who are putting comments on net against them have never enjoyed the taste of a girl friend, so they are frustrated. I am sure if Sanam Taseer offers to pass one night with any of those who are saying she is indecent, they will forget all the criticism and will readily accept her offer. Enjoy you life guys and do not poke your nose into someone's affairs. Just chill...
